We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Developer with strong experience in MuleSoft to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise integration services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and reliable integrations across business-critical systems and platforms. This role combines hands-on development, solution design, API-led connectivity, troubleshooting, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery support within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development
Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Build reusable System, Process, and Experience APIs following API-led connectivity principles.
Develop integrations between enterprise platforms, cloud services, SaaS applications, and on-premise systems.
Create reusable assets, shared templates, and accelerators to improve delivery efficiency.
Contribute to solution architecture decisions focused on scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.
API and Platform Engineering
Design and implement REST, SOAP, asynchronous, file-based, and event-driven integration patterns.
Develop complex transformations using DataWeave for JSON, XML, CSV, flat-file, and canonical data models.
Configure API policies for authentication, rate limiting, client enforcement, logging, and threat protection.
Manage deployments through CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid runtimes.
Use Anypoint Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Monitoring, Secrets Manager, and related platform services.
Optimize performance, resilience, error handling, retry logic, and observability of integrations.
Support and Operations
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production incidents and platform issues.
Support release, deployment, change, and environment management activities.
Monitor integration platform health and proactively address risks or service degradation.
Ensure documentation of technical solutions, runbooks, and support procedures.
Collaboration and Delivery Support
Work closely with architects, analysts, product teams, infrastructure teams, security, and business stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into robust technical integration solutions.
Support agile delivery ceremonies, planning sessions, estimations, and technical reviews.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team capability growth.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for simplification, modernization, automation, and reuse.
Stay informed on integration trends, cloud-native architectures, and emerging technologies.
Promote engineering excellence, coding standards, and secure development practices.
Experience
Proven experience as a Senior Developer, Integration Developer, or similar role.
Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Proven experience designing and building APIs in enterprise environments.
Experience integrating ERP, CRM, identity, data, or other core enterprise platforms.
Experience working in complex enterprise delivery environments with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, finance, or similar sectors is highly valued.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, Anypoint Monitoring, and platform administration.
Advanced knowledge of DataWeave 2.x including mappings, reusable modules, error handling, and performance optimization.
Strong experience building System / Process / Experience APIs and reusable integration layers.
Experience deploying to CloudHub 1.0 / 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid environments.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, RAML / OpenAPI specifications, SOAP services, JSON, XML, and event/message-driven architectures.
Experience with connectors such as SAP, Salesforce, databases, SFTP, JMS/MQ, HTTP, and other enterprise systems.
Experience implementing security controls such as OAuth 2.0, TLS, mutual TLS, certificates, secrets management, and API protection policies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent tooling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational support models.

Nice to have hands-on experience working with ServiceNow.
MuleSoft certifications are an advantage.
Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
Relevant certifications in cloud, integration, or DevOps disciplines are an advantage.
