Job Description

Job Title: MuleSoft Developer

Location: 100% Remote (India-based candidates only)

Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM IST 11:00 PM IST (Monday through Friday)

Start Date: ASAP Actively Interviewing

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in API-led connectivity, RAML-based API design, and secure, scalable Mule application development. This role requires close collaboration with distributed teams and stakeholders, with a focus on delivering reliable APIs and B2B integrations in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform following API-led connectivity principles (System, Process, and Experience APIs).
  • Create and manage API specifications using RAML, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Develop Mule applications using Mule 4, DataWeave, connectors, and error-handling best practices.
  • Implement API security and governance, including authentication, authorization, policies, throttling, and versioning.
  • Configure and manage APIs in API Manager, applying policies and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Monitor and support Mule applications using Anypoint Monitoring, including dashboards, alerts, logging, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
  • Develop and support B2B integrations using Anypoint Partner Manager, including partner onboarding, document tracking, and transaction monitoring.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and downstream system teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of integration solutions.
  • Support deployments and releases through CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule application development.
  • Proficient in RAML for API specification, design, and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of API design principles, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with API security, including OAuth 2.0, client ID enforcement, TLS, and policy management.
  • Hands-on experience with Anypoint Monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and reporting concepts.
  • Experience working with Anypoint Partner Manager for B2B/EDI-style integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of DataWeave transformations and message handling.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex integration flows.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with global teams.

Nice to Have:

  • MuleSoft certification (MCD Level 1 or Level 2).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience integrating with SaaS applications, databases, and legacy systems.
