Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned MuleSoft Integration Architect with deep experience in healthcare system integrations. The role involves designing and leading API‑led, scalable, secure integration architectures connecting HIS, ERP, Billing, RCM, CRM, and Web/Mobile platforms, ensuring regulatory compliance and high system interoperability.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design, Own end‑to‑end integration architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for healthcare ecosystems.
- Design API‑led connectivity (System, Process, Experience APIs) for:
- HIS / EMR / EHR
- ERP & Finance Systems
- Billing & Revenue Cycle Management
- Patient Portals, Websites, Mobile Apps
- Define integration patterns (sync/async, event‑driven, batch, near‑real‑time).
- Lead integrations using healthcare standards: HL7, FHIR, CDA, X12 (as applicable)
- Enable secure data exchange for: Patient demographics, Appointments, Billing & claims, Clinical & non‑clinical data
- Ensure interoperability across hospital, partner, and third‑party systems.
- Design integrations adhering to HIPAA / healthcare data security standards
- Implement: OAuth 2.0 / JWT / SAML, Data encryption (in transit & at rest), Audit logs and monitoring
- Lead deployment strategies across: On‑prem, Cloud, Hybrid environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using: Maven, Jenkins, Git
- Define runtime sizing, clustering, HA, DR strategies.
- Establish API governance, versioning, and reuse strategies.
- Define logging, error handling, SLA, and monitoring standards.
- Mentor MuleSoft developers and review designs/code.
- Work closely with: Business stakeholders, Healthcare SMEs,Application teams (CRM, Web, Mobile, ERP)
- Translate functional requirements into scalable integration solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (Preferred)
- Strong architectural thinking and problem‑solving
- Ability to lead technical discussions and design workshops
- Experience working in large, multi‑vendor programs
- Proven experience in enterprise healthcare integration programs is a plus
