MT-AP Invoice Processing

Inviting applications for the role of a Management Trainee, Accounts Payable Invoice Processing

We are looking for someone who can coordinate the Accounts Payable function. Also, assist associates to identify& implement AP improvements. You must be a Finance and Accounting Subject Matter Guide with relevant experience in the accounts payable process.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to accounts payable, which include:

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records

• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO

• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval

• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country

• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)

• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures

• Identify & implement AP improvements

• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

• Graduate.

• Relevant years of Accounting/AP experience

Preferred qualifications

• Good communication skills & highly proactive approach

• Good knowledge of AP process

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

• ERP knowledge like SAP, Oracle , PeopleSoft will be an added advantage

• Ability to take ownership and drive outcome with minimal supervision
