Role : Software Engineer / SQL Developer (Contract)
Location: Access ,Guindy, Chennai
Position Type: 3-6 months Contract
Full-time conversion cannot be confirmed at this time. It will depend on project needs and the candidate's performance at the end of the contract.

Roles And Responsibilities
SQL Development & Stored Procedures
Query, optimize, and maintain SQL Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Triggers.
Develop advanced T-SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting.
Perform query tuning and performance optimization for high-volume transactional systems. Support automation scripting for recurring data processes and AR reporting workflows.
Data Quality & Validation
Ensure data quality, integrity, completeness, and accuracy across all data processes.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and deduplication.
Implement row-count checks, hash validations, record sampling, and automated quality checks.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies between source and target systems.
Maintain audit trails and documentation for all data-related processes.
Technical Skills
SQL - Query, Optimization (Strong)
Azure/AWS Table Migration (Strong)
Power BI (Strong)
Expertise in Excel
SQL Querying-Core skill for datasets
Database Analysis -Understanding business data
Schema Understanding-Knowing relationships between tables
SSRS/Report Designing-Layout can be learned
Performance Optimization-Important for large datasets
DB Migration Concepts
ETL and automation scripting
Stored Procedure development and performance tuning
External database integration and management
Data reconciliation and validation techniques
MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros)
Data Tracing-Most important when report data is wrong
