MS SQL DBA

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer MS SQL Server databases across on-premises and Azure environments.
• Perform advanced performance tuning and query optimization to ensure peak system performance.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor SQL Server Always On, High Availability (HA) setups, and SQL Server Replication.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Execute patching activities, version upgrades, and maintenance tasks with minimal downtime.
• Work extensively with SSMS and Azure Portal to manage database systems and cloud-based deployments.
• Ensure database security, backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development, migrations, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Provide guidance as a Senior SQL DBA and support large-scale, mission-critical database environments.
