Role Overview:
As a Functional Consultant Retail & Commerce, you will play a key role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering tailored solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Retail and Commerce modules. You will collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and technical specialists to ensure successful end-to-end implementation and optimization of retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze functional and business requirements from stakeholders.
- Configure and implement Retail and Commerce modules in Dynamics 365 F&O to align with business needs.
- Set up and configure retail stores, POS systems, discounts, and pricing structures.
- Implement and manage payment integrations, including out-of-the-box and third-party payment gateways.
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and propose appropriate functional solutions.
- Lead and participate in end-to-end ERP implementation cycles, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Perform testing and quality assurance to validate system functionality and performance.
- Provide user training, post-go-live support, and documentation.
- Prepare project scope, estimations, and functional design documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.
- Travel to client locations as required for project execution.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O Retail and Commerce modules.
- Hands-on experience in store configuration, pricing, discount setup, and payment gateway integrations.
- Ability to map and configure business requirements effectively in D365 F&O.
- Proven track record of at least three full-cycle ERP implementations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sure Step methodology or equivalent project frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within project teams.
