Primary Title: Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
About The Opportunity
We operate in the healthcare services sector, delivering community-focused maternal and womens health services through a network of outpatient, inpatient, and maternity care facilities in Uttar Pradesh. This on-site role is based in Sadabad and is tailored for a clinically strong, patient-centered obstetrician & gynaecologist to lead high-quality maternal care locally.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynaecologic care, including antenatal, intra-partum and postnatal management.
- Perform operative procedures independently: Caesarean sections, common gynaecologic surgeries (e.g., hysterectomy, myomectomy) and manage perioperative care.
- Lead labourward and emergency obstetric interventions, stabilise critical patients and coordinate with anaesthesia and neonatal teams.
- Manage highrisk pregnancies and implement evidence-based protocols for maternal and fetal monitoring.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, prescribe appropriate investigations and follow-up plans, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.
- Mentor junior clinicians and nursing staff, participate in clinical audits, case reviews and local qualityimprovement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) and DGO
- Valid Indian medical registration (State Medical Council)
- Proven clinical experience in labour ward management, LSCS and common gynaecologic surgery
- Strong competence in antenatal & postnatal care and emergency obstetric resuscitation
- Comfort with on-site shift patterns including handling obstetric emergencies
- Good documentation practices and adherence to clinical governance
Preferred
- Experience in minimally invasive gynaecologic procedures (advanced laparoscopy)
- Training in neonatal resuscitation programmes (NRP)
- Exposure to hospital quality management and clinical audit processes
