Job Description

About DROPZ

DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture, and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will turn the energy of every DROP into motion, building social-first, high-polish animations that make launches feel collectible, premium, and culturally loud. This is a 0 to 100 startup environment where you own motion deliverables end to end, move fast without losing taste, and help build repeatable creative systems that scale, while investing long-term in the brand and the culture you shape.

What You'll Do

  • Own motion design deliverables for product drops, campaigns, and always-on content, translating briefs into animated outputs that match DROPZ's pace, aesthetic, and cultural tone across every platform we ship on.
  • Create cinematic title sequences, transitions, overlays, lower thirds, and kinetic typography systems, ensuring each asset feels intentional, brand-forward, and instantly recognizable as DROPZ when it hits the feed.
  • Design social-first motion assets optimized for Reels, Stories, Shorts, and ads, adapting layouts, safe areas, timing, and text treatment so the same idea performs across formats without losing clarity.
  • Collaborate with brand, content, performance, and editing teams to lock direction early, align on hook and messaging, and deliver motion that supports retention, comprehension, and drop-day urgency.
  • Build clean project structures with consistent naming, versioning, and asset organization, so handoffs are smooth, feedback cycles are fast, and future variants or localization stays low friction.
  • Develop reusable motion templates and modular systems for recurring series, including intro stings, drop reveal frameworks, and transition packs, increasing speed while keeping outputs fresh and non-generic.
  • Maintain a strong internal quality bar for easing, rhythm, typography, spacing, and continuity, catching polish issues before review so final exports feel premium rather than just finished.
  • Run feedback loops end to end, converting notes into actionable changes, protecting the creative bar, documenting decisions when needed, and shipping on launch-critical timelines without chaos.
  • Prep and export deliverables for multiple platforms, balancing quality and file size, checking color, compression, and readability so motion publishes cleanly on mobile-first surfaces.
  • Track motion trends and culture cues, bringing references, breakdowns, and small experiments into the workflow so DROPZ stays ahead of stale templates and predictable animation patterns.

Who You Are

  • You have 12 to 24 months of hands-on motion design experience and a portfolio that shows strong timing, typography, composition, and taste, with examples that prove you can ship polished work consistently.
  • You can interpret a creative brief, propose a motion approach, and execute it with minimal drift, aligning early on story, pacing, and deliverables so stakeholders get what they signed up for.
  • You understand social-first storytelling, including hooks, rhythm, and small-screen readability, and you design motion that is built for mobile performance, not simply resized from desktop layouts.
  • You are comfortable with standard motion workflows, including asset prep, clean organization, iterative reviews, and exporting multiple sizes and codecs reliably without quality surprises.
  • You can handle multiple priorities with calm execution, keeping timelines visible, communicating tradeoffs early, and maintaining consistency across a full launch kit of motion assets.
  • You take ownership of quality, iterating on easing, detail, and continuity until the animation feels intentional, and you care about the last 5 percent that makes work feel premium.
  • You communicate clearly in async updates and reviews, flag blockers early, estimate effort realistically, and keep collaborators aligned without needing constant follow-ups or tight supervision.
  • You are a low friction collaborator who is open to feedback, respectful in critique, and invested in building a creative culture that helps the team move faster without lowering the bar.
  • You thrive in a 0 to 100 startup environment, bring daily intensity, take accountability for outcomes, and treat deadlines like commitments because the drop moment does not wait.
  • You are excited by DROPZ, limited-edition culture, and building long term, and you want your work to shape what the world recognizes when they think of drops and collectibility.

What We Offer

  • Real ownership of motion output for high-visibility drops, where your work ships fast, gets seen, and directly shapes how DROPZ feels in the market across every launch moment.
  • A 0 to 100 building environment where you grow by shipping, iterating, and leveling up your creative systems, with high accountability and the freedom to move quickly with taste.
  • Long-term growth through responsibility, where your consistency and craft can expand scope over time as we build the platform, the culture, and the creative engine together.
