Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Motion Graphics Animator & Video Editor role based in Ranchi. The role involves creating high-quality motion graphics and animations for educational content, including lessons, explainer videos, and interactive modules. The Motion Graphics Animator & Video Editor will storyboard concepts, design visual elements, animate characters or objects, and edit video sequences to produce clear and engaging learning materials. Responsibilities include collaborating with content experts and instructional designers, integrating motion capture or other visual assets when required, and ensuring all outputs align with ROOTBASE's educational objectives and brand guidelines. The role also includes refining audio-visual quality, optimizing videos for different platforms, and meeting project deadlines in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Animation and Motion Graphics, with experience producing engaging, educational, or explainer-style videos.
• Ability to create clear Storyboarding materials to translate learning objectives into visual narratives and sequences.
• Familiarity with Motion Capture workflows or assets and the ability to integrate them into animation projects when needed.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with educators, designers, and technical teams and to interpret feedback constructively.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar software) and basic audio editing skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, and video editing work, preferably including educational or instructional content.
• Diploma or degree in Animation, Multimedia, Design, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, time management abilities, and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies in edutech.
