Motion Graphic Designer

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Motion Graphic Designer to work with a leading advertising agency in Mumbai!

Job Summary:

The Motion Graphic Designer leads the visual storytelling and animation efforts within the agency. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, directing, and overseeing motion design projects — from social media content and TV commercials to brand films and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate combines strong creative vision with leadership skills and a deep understanding of motion design trends, animation principles, and visual communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the motion graphics and animation team in developing high-quality, visually compelling content for advertising and digital campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, and account teams to translate campaign concepts into dynamic motion assets.
• Oversee all stages of motion design production — concept development, storyboarding, animation, editing, and post-production.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity and motion language across all client projects.
• Supervise the use of 2D/3D animation, typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling.
• Ensure creative excellence while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, software, and technologies in motion design, animation, and digital media.
• Manage resources, workflow, and vendor relationships for outsourced animation or video production when required.
• Mentor and guide junior motion designers, editors, and animators within the creative team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in motion design or animation, preferably in an advertising or creative agency environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of motion graphics, brand films, and campaign work.
• Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D (or similar 3D software).
• Solid understanding of visual storytelling, timing, and composition.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
