Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Motion Graphic Designer with deep knowledge of the technology space to join our dynamic creative team at Tech Research Online. The ideal candidate will create compelling visual narratives that transform complex tech concepts into engaging, accessible content for our professional audience. You'll be responsible for designing and producing motion graphics, explainer videos, and multimedia content that supports our editorial mission and enhances our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for explainer videos, product demonstrations, and editorial content.
- Create engaging 30-60 second videos covering topics like AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Develop animated infographics and data visualizations for complex research findings.
- Handle complete video production lifecycle from concept to final delivery.
- Edit and enhance video content with seamless transitions, dynamic animations, and professional audio integration.
- Collaborate with editorial team to translate technical articles and research into visual stories.
- Develop creative concepts and storyboards for technology-focused content.
- Design custom graphics, icons, and visual elements aligned with tech industry aesthetics.
- Create branded templates and motion graphics systems for consistent content production.
- Stay current with motion design trends and apply innovative techniques to tech storytelling.
- Produce content optimized for multiple platforms (web, social media, presentations, mobile).
- Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications and brand guidelines.
- Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Maintain organized asset libraries and version control systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional motion graphics design experience.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion graphics, video editing, and animation.
- Strong understanding of technology industry trends, terminology, and concepts.
- Experience creating content for B2B audiences, particularly in tech/enterprise sectors.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects (primary requirement), Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Motion graphics principles and animation techniques, Video editing, color grading, and audio synchronization, Typography and visual hierarchy in motion, Data visualization and infographic design.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or related field.
- Experience with 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender)
- Experience with live-action video production and editing.
- Understanding of video codecs, compression, and optimization for web delivery
- Experience with version control and asset management systems
Portfolio Requirements

- 3-5 motion graphics projects demonstrating technical and creative skills
