Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 3 to 4 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro, along with a keen eye for storytelling, visual aesthetics, and motion graphics. The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, corporate communications, and brand promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality video content.
- Create engaging videos for social media, websites, digital campaigns, advertisements, and corporate presentations.
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro for editing, compositing, motion graphics, and visual enhancements.
- Add visual effects, animations, transitions, color correction, and audio enhancements.
- Collaborate with creative teams, graphic designers, content creators, and marketing professionals to understand project requirements.
- Ensure videos are optimised for different platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Organise and maintain video assets, project files, and media libraries.
- Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging video technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film Production, Animation, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in video editing and post-production.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Final Cut Pro
- Good understanding of motion graphics, visual storytelling, and video composition.
- Experience with color grading, audio synchronization, and sound editing.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, compression, and export settings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
