Motion Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Junior Motion Graphic Designer to support our Product Design team by introducing subtle, purposeful motion across our food-tech platforms. This includes our SmartQ mobile ordering app, self-order kiosks, POS systems, and internal operational dashboards.

This role will focus on creating micro-interactions, UI transitions, loading states, feedback animations, and lightweight brand motion to enhance usability, clarity, and overall product quality without distracting the user experience.

This is an execution-heavy, collaboration-driven role, working closely with Product Designers, Developers, and UI/UX stakeholders to deliver motion that is both aesthetically refined and technically feasible.

Key Responsibilities

• Create UI motion graphics including:
• Micro-interactions (tap feedback, selection states, success/error states)
• Screen transitions and flow animations
• Loading, empty, and processing states
• Simple brand/visual accent animations for kiosks and displays
• Convert static UI designs (Figma) into motion concepts and prototypes
• Ensure motion improves clarity and usability, especially in fast-paced kiosk environments
• Collaborate with Product Designers and Developers for feasibility and performance
• Maintain consistency with SmartQ design system motion principles
• Iterate animations based on feedback and usability needs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 02 years experience in motion design/UI animation
• Strong motion fundamentals: timing, easing, hierarchy, continuity
• Adobe After Effects
• Photoshop / Illustrator
• Blender or Cinema 4D or Premier Pro
• Lottie
• Basic knowledge of Figma prototyping is a plus
• Portfolio showcasing UI/product motion work, Animation etc

Nice to Have

• Experience working on apps, kiosks, POS, or dashboards
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and platform limitations
• Familiarity with motion guidelines (Material Motion / iOS motion principles)
