About the role

Every good explainer has a moment where the idea clicks. The number lands on the beat, the chart builds as it's said, one word on screen says it all. You'll design those moments.

You'll add motion graphics that help viewers understand and remember what's being said. Clarity and emphasis, not decoration. You'll sit with the editors on a weekly pipeline, and build the templates and reusable assets that make the whole studio faster.

What you'll do

• Design and animate the moments that make an idea click: kinetic text, charts that build as the numbers are spoken, callouts, maps and visual breakdowns.

• Work with the editors to find the key beats in each video, and hit them with movement and timing.

• Turn complex ideas into visuals a viewer gets in seconds.

• Build graphic systems for each creator and brand, and keep them consistent across episodes and series.

• Write style guides for recurring formats, and flex the tone for each creator without losing who they are.

• Make templates the team can reuse in minutes, and keep the asset library tidy.

• Design for the phone first: readable at Shorts size, clean alpha exports, organised project packages.

• Keep the weekly pipeline moving, and take load off the editors with reusable assets.

The ideal candidate

• At least 2 years of motion design experience.

• Strong After Effects skills.

• A real eye for typography and layout. You notice hierarchy, spacing and when a frame has too much in it.

• A feel for timing and emphasis. You know when a word should pop and when it should sit still.

• You can turn information into pictures.

• Your background can be anything: explainers, SaaS and product videos, brand motion, broadcast packages, social. We care about the craft.

• Bonus: educational, finance or explainer content, basic illustration, or animating in sync with sound.
