Role Description:

The primary focus of this role will be video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling across different formats, including short social media videos, longer films, campaign videos, and presentation-based visual content. 

Someone who can design + understand how design works and bring those designs to life through motion and video. While the role is primarily motion and video-focused, knowledge of graphic design principles is important, as we often require strong design thinking within video content.

The person should be comfortable working across multiple video formats, from short digital clips to longer narrative videos and short films. They should also have a strong understanding of visual design within video, including typography, layout, transitions, and graphic elements.

Ideally, someone strong and independent who can consistently produce high-quality motion and video outputs with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing videos across multiple formats, including social media content, campaign films, presentations, trailer cuts, and long-form videos.
• Creating motion graphics, animated titles, and graphic overlays.
• Producing both short-form and long-form video content, including narrative-style videos and short films.
• Designing transitions, animated typography, and visual elements within videos.
• Converting static designs and graphics into motion-based visuals.
• Creating animated infographics, charts, and visual storytelling elements.
• Preparing video outputs in multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
• Ensuring strong visual design in video, including typography, layout, pacing, and graphic consistency.
• Managing video assets, footage organization, and production files.
• Collaborating with the design team to integrate graphic design elements within motion content.

Must have strengths:

• Strong understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to follow and implement them consistently across outputs.
• Should ideally have experience working with tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other video production tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Photoshop/ Illustrator/Canva, even to create or adapt graphic elements to be used within video.
• Ability to work efficiently and produce high-quality outputs quickly
• Curious to experiment with new formats, techniques, and emerging creative technologies
• A mindset of continuous improvement and keeping up with how visual production is evolving with AI

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, or visual production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work across different video formats, including short-form digital content, campaign videos, and longer narrative edits.
• Experience working with motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, and visual storytelling will be important.
