The Mission

We are looking for a
Motion Design Intern who lives on the For You Page. You don't just know how to use After Effects; you know why a 0.5-second transition matters and how to sync keyframes to the beat of a trending audio.
What You'll Own
- High-Velocity Creation: Turn raw briefs into high-impact Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and performance ads with a lightning-fast turnaround.
- Trend Arbitrage: Monitor social trends daily. If a meme format or a visual style is blowing up, you're the one bringing it to Olyv before it's old news.
- Performance Storytelling: Craft motion assets for Meta and Google Ads that don't just look pretty but actually drive CTR (Click-Through Rate).
- Visual Hook Mastery: Experiment with typography, fast-paced transitions, and glitch or lo-fi aesthetics to grab attention in the first 2 seconds.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Social Media, Content and Growth teams to translate complex fintech concepts into simple, snackable, and viral-worthy motion pieces.
Who You Are
- The Tech Stack: You are a wizard in After Effects, Capcut, VN, Photoshop and Premiere Pro. (Knowledge of Figma/Photoshop for asset prep is a plus).
- Social-First Brain: You understand hook, body, payoff. You know how to design for the mute-button-on experience (captions, bold typography).
- Rhythm & Timing: You have a musician's sense of timing. Your transitions feel snappy, not sluggish.
- The Vibe Expert: You follow creators like Ben Marriott or Vox-style editors and understand the current visual grammar of the internet.
- Agile Mindset: You thrive on feedback and can pivot styles quickly to meet campaign deadlines.

- A portfolio that features Social Media Reels or Performance Ads (show us your best 15-second edits!).
- AI First mindset- Experience with AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Firefly, Leonardo, Google Flow) to speed up your workflow.
