Motion Design Intern (Palmonas)

Core Responsibilities

- Assist in creating basic motion graphics for brand content (GIFs, simple animations, kinetic typography).

- Adapt existing video assets into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.

- Support post-production tasks including simple edits, sync, cleanup, template usage and updates.Ensure consistency with brand motion guidelines, pacing, transitions, and visual language.

Creative Expectations

- Bring fresh ideas while maintaining the brand's sophisticated identity.

- Understand how motion communicates product value and desirability.

- Experiment with new motion techniques for jewelry such as shine animations, detail-focused motion, and macro enhancements.

Skills and Tools

- Knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro is required.

- Basic understanding of animation principles: easing, timing, composition.

- Familiarity with masks, track mattes, and shape layer animations.

- Added advantage if aware of 3D fundamentals (Blender or C4D), not mandatory.

Workflow and Collaboration

- Ability to translate a rough idea into simple motion explorations.

- Comfortable working within structured file naming and asset organization.

- Communicate time estimates, progress, and blockers clearly.

- Willingness to iterate quickly based on feedback.

Attitude and Fit

- Attention to detail, especially with timing and finish.

- Curiosity to learn and improve motion skills in a professional setup.

- Interest in fashion, jewelry, and luxury brand storytelling is a plus.
