Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using NodeJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, micro-services, and event-driven applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.
  • Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, communication APIs, and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical documentation.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong expertise in NodeJS with 6+ years of hands-on development experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event loop, streams, clustering, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar backend frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of API development, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets.
  • Knowledge of Serverless Framework.
  • Exposure to AI/LLM integrations and cloud-based AI services.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
