What you will be doing:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Moodle plugins and themes as per business requirements.
- Optimize Moodle performance, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Develop and integrate new features into Moodle using Core PHP and MySQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Moodle-related technical issues.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and system administrators to enhance the user experience.
- Implement third-party integrations and API customizations for Moodle.
- Ensure regular updates and security patches are applied to Moodle platforms.
- Maintain proper documentation of all development activities.
What we expect to have:
- 5+ years of experience in Moodle development and customization.
- Strong expertise in Core PHP, Moodle plugin/theme development, and MySQL.
- In-depth knowledge of Moodle architecture, APIs, and database structure.
- Experience in customizing Moodle UI/UX for a better learning experience.
- Familiarity with SCORM, LTI, and xAPI standards.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience in deploying and managing Moodle on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
