Hours: typically 11am-8pm IST (need some flexibility)

On Site/Remote: 2-3 days on site if in Pune or Chennai, with remote options available

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Monitoring & Network Observability Engineer to lead the design, implementation, administration, and optimisation of enterprise monitoring solutions across a large-scale, highly available environment on behalf of a top financial services client. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for monitoring and observability platforms, ensuring visibility, resiliency, and performance across network, infrastructure, application, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools such as SolarWinds, NetScout, ThousandEyes, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Forward Networks, or similar technologies, along with experience supporting upgrades, integrations, automation, and platform enhancements within complex enterprise environments.

Must Haves:

• 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise monitoring, observability, or network performance management environments.
• Hands-on experience administering and supporting monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, NetScout, ThousandEyes, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Experience designing, implementing, customising, and maintaining highly available monitoring solutions across large enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with familiarity in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting/automation technologies.
