Monitoring & Evaluation Associate

Location: Chennai

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support monitoring and evaluation across our CSR skilling programs for college students across multiple locations.

Based in Chennai, the role will be responsible for tracking program performance across the full lifecycle—from mobilisation and enrolment to training delivery, assessment, certification, placement, and post-placement tracking. The role will work closely with program, training, placement, and field teams to ensure timely reporting, data quality, and evidence-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Program Tracking

  • Develop monitoring frameworks, indicators, trackers, and reporting formats across projects.
  • Track program progress against targets, timelines, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Monitor implementation across locations and identify gaps, delays, and operational risks.
  • Conduct periodic field visits, sample checks, and verification exercises.

Data Review & Analysis

  • Review data submitted by field teams for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Consolidate and analyse data across locations using tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and MIS platforms.
  • Generate insights to support program reviews and corrective actions.

Outcome Tracking & Reporting

  • Track learner outcomes including course completion, assessments, certification, placement, and retention.
  • Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, donor updates, and management summaries.
  • Maintain documentation and evidence repositories for reviews, audits, and donor reporting.

Requirements


  • 2–7 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, program operations, data analysis, or reporting, preferably in CSR, skilling, education, or development programs.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple teams and locations.
  • Good working knowledge of Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for field monitoring and verification.
