MongoDB Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MongoDB Administrator to manage and maintain database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The role involves working on cloud-based database systems, handling migrations, and troubleshooting critical production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage MongoDB databases including MongoDB Atlas
• Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Handle cloud-based database administration and support cloud migration/transformation projects
• Monitor database performance using tools like Percona, Grafana, and MonYog
• Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and troubleshooting
• Manage and resolve mission-critical production database issues
• Write and modify Unix shell scripts for automation and maintenance
• Collaborate with teams to ensure database reliability and scalability

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in database administration
