Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • • • • • • Disassemble, clean, inspect, polish, and reassemble multi-cavity injection molds, including sliding cores, angle pins, unscrewing cores, and runner blocks. Operate tool room machinery (conventional/CNC milling machines, surface grinders, lathes, and EDM spark erosion) for high precision tooling fabrication and repair. Identify and rectify mold defects such as parting line mismatch, flashing, cavity damage, galling, and ejector pin breakage. Service and descale mold cooling channels, check sealing O-rings, and maintain hot/cold runner nozzle manifolds. Fabricate replacement core pins, cavity inserts, guide pillars, bushes, and slide plates to exact drawing tolerances. Maintain tooling history cards, preventive maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION Diploma or ITI / Vocational Certification in Tool & Die Making, Machinist Trade, or Mechanical Engineering.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 5–7 years in plastic injection mold maintenance & fabrication. Strong expertise in collapsible cores and multi cavity fitting molds
