Role Objective

Designing robust credit risk frameworks, enabling data-driven underwriting decisions, and ensuring prudent portfolio growth while maintaining strong asset quality and regulatory compliance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Designing and formulating credit risk and underwriting programs for supply chain finance using technology as a necessary enabler
  • Building scorecard-based credit risk decision models and strategies, driven by cashflow based lending approach in the fintech domain
  • Creating risk and policy structure with decent experience in credit risk function, working on conjunction with senior leaders and partners Banks/ NBFC's
  • Ensuring complete adherence of policy and processes and implementing in underwriting and decisioning of loans
  • End to end review of the Credit & operation process and provide insights on overall process for delivering strict turnaround time.
  • Strategize and partner in implementing technology to enable a digital journey in the Supply chain financing process- e.g. underwriting, KYC, on-boarding etc.
  • Coordinating with external lenders for designing and reviewing credit facilities structure, design and delivery.
  • Providing thought-leadership on improving customer acquisition strategies, developing statistical cash-flow based credit models, and communicate analytical and credit ideas
  • Work with technology and business team to build out new credit acquisition and risk management capabilities and refine existing one

Work Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in SME credit with 3+ Years of experience in credit scoring, risk modelling and policies in Fintech Domain (lending, cards, payments, supply chain financing).
  • Experience in setting up strong credit underwriting processes and scale them

Knowledge/ Skills

  • Understanding of new-age / eCommerce businesses, and cashflow based lending models is a plus.
  • Ability to assess customers basis standard documents like Financials, Banking, GST etc.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and the ability to bring out insights from data
  • Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal Graduation from a reputed institute
  • MBA/CA from a reputed institute
