As a Module Technical Project Lead, you will report to the Module Design Owner and be a central figure in a global organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Systems Engineering and Project Management, with a proven ability to lead complex development projects. This role is crucial for ensuring technical deliverables, managing risks, and driving quality assurance from within the team. You will collaborate across the entire value chain, engaging with experts in Denmark, Portugal, and India to deliver on project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Take technical responsibility for project deliverables and provide technical guidance to sub-module leads.
- Design & Development: Direct and conduct design work on large, complex projects, engaging with functional experts to achieve technical depth.
- Project Facilitation: Facilitate project teams in identifying tasks and adhering to best practices in Systems Engineering.
- Risk & Quality Management: Own and drive technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Steer the methodology for design and development, ensuring diligent and traceable quality assurance.
- Integration & Change Management: Manage intra- and inter-module integration and oversee engineering change management.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare and conduct technical reviews, and report project status to upper management and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a working knowledge of Systems Engineering (including DFMEA, ConOps, and requirement formulation).
- Project Management: An understanding of Project Management principles (preferably PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum).
- Specialization (Advantageous): Specialization in at least one component, such as frequency converters, high-voltage transformers, or switchgear.
- Procedures & Stakeholders: Experience working with internal product development procedures and managing stakeholders across the full value chain.
