Role: Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) / Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE)

About the Role

Happiest Minds is looking for highly motivated Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to operate at the convergence of technology, business transformation, and customer success.

In this role, you will partner closely with enterprise customers to understand complex business challenges, analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for digital transformation. You will design and deliver scalable, business-centric solutions leveraging the UA platform across workflow automation, system integrations, low-code application development, data engineering, and AI/Generative AI-powered solutions.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work on enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives while collaborating with customers, solution architects, product teams, and engineering leaders. It provides hands-on exposure to solving real-world business problems, delivering innovative solutions, and driving measurable customer outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement & Solution Design

• Collaborate with enterprise customers to understand their business objectives, operational challenges, workflows, and integration requirements.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into scalable, efficient, and future-ready solutions using the UnifyApps platform.
• Lead discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and technical demonstrations to validate requirements, showcase platform capabilities, and align proposed solutions with customer goals.

Platform Development & Integration

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications, workflows, and automation solutions using the UnifyApps platform.
• Build and implement seamless integrations with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, ITSM, and other third-party systems.
• Develop and optimize APIs, connectors, data pipelines, and workflow automations to enable secure, reliable, and efficient data exchange across enterprise ecosystems.

AI & Digital Transformation Initiatives

• Design and implement AI and Generative AI-powered solutions by leveraging the AI capabilities of the UnifyApps platform to address complex business challenges.
• Develop intelligent workflows that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), automation, enterprise search, and organizational data to enhance productivity and decision-making.
• Partner with customers to accelerate their digital transformation journey by modernizing business processes, driving automation, and delivering innovative, AI-enabled solutions.

Delivery & Implementation

• Rapidly prototype innovative solutions and transform proof-of-concepts (PoCs) into scalable, production-ready applications.
• Contribute to end-to-end solution delivery, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support, ensuring successful customer outcomes.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring solution quality, performance, and reliability.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Collaborate closely with Happiest Minds delivery teams, solution architects, and the UnifyApps product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.
• Contribute to the development of reusable accelerators, solution templates, implementation frameworks, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency and consistency.
• Continuously stay abreast of UnifyApps platform enhancements, emerging AI and Generative AI capabilities, and evolving enterprise technology trends to drive innovation and deliver greater value to customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with 5 9 years of experience
• Experience working with low-code/no-code platforms for developing enterprise applications and workflow automation solutions.
• Exposure to platforms such as UnifyApps, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar enterprise integration and automation platforms.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or comparable AI frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing workflow automation, API integrations, and enterprise system integrations across diverse business applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern software delivery and system integration practices.
