Job Description

Work collaboratively with distributed teams across technology tiers.
Ability to collaborate & operate in a team environment, developing own & other s ideas.
Champion process effectiveness & improvements by owning governance controls.
Explore, validate, plan & lead implementation for product lifecycle upgrades.
Lead actions to mitigate application risks due to cybersecurity vulnerabilities & obsolete technology frameworks.
Identify technology & product risk ahead to devise mitigation strategies
Engage multiple stakeholders to update progress & effect decisions
Define & improve quality processes & guidelines.
Be the lead point contact to gather requirements and provide high level estimates
Create Logical Technical Architecture diagram for new solutions.
Develop high level & low-level design & solutions for complex business requirements.
Lead technical teams in troubleshooting and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide design & technical guidance to pool of Java developers across ongoing projects & support tasks
Lead and conduct quality gate reviews for development & support activities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve product stability & system health
Recognize and troubleshoot moderate/complex technical problems within IT service agreement levels.
Monitors and pro-actively responds to output from tools and monitoring systems.
Excellent communication skills. Communicates with cross-functional teams, primarily at the individual contributor level, to provide problem resolution updates.
Develop and maintain deep technical and business knowledge of the domain.
Participate in root-cause analysis of technical incidents.
Work on multiple problems or projects simultaneously.
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Technical skills:
Good knowledge of object-oriented/Functional programming, Architecture
Good development and debugging experience with Java/J2EE technologies (Web UI, JQuery, SQL Database, Openshift, Devops), including Spring (Spring Framework and Spring Boot), Hibernate, Web Application/Web Services with Tomcat, Restful Webservices.
Experience troubleshooting technologically challenging customer issues. Able to use advanced debugging techniques including analysis of tracing, and performance tuning and monitoring
Experience in one or more relational databases such as Oracle, MYSQL.
Good knowledge on SQL queries.

Knowledge in SOAP, WSDL webservices
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Azure Devops etc.
