Job Intro: The
Clinical Trials Specialist plays a central role in executing and operationalizing Veranas clinical trial delivery programs, partnering closely with physician practices and research staff across our network. This role supports the successful implementation and ongoing execution of Verana Trial Connect (VTC), enabling more efficient patient identification, site engagement, and trial operations.
You will train and support practice users on Veranas Trial Connect platform while serving as a key operational partner throughout the lifecycle of a study, from onboarding and site engagement through active delivery and project closeout. Acting as the voice of the practice, you will help ensure workflows are practical, feedback is incorporated, and sites remain effectively supported throughout trial execution.
As Veranas clinical trials business continues to grow, this role expands beyond user support to include ownership of core delivery operations, coordination of site outreach and feasibility activities, and execution of engagement campaigns that support study activation and enrollment readiness. The Clinical Trials Specialist works cross-functionally with product, medical, data science, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure consistent, scalable delivery across studies.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Train and provide ongoing support to practices using the Verana Trial Connect (VTC) tool, including onboarding, troubleshooting, and feedback tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investigators and research staff at practices, serving as the primary operational partner
- Develop presentations, communications, and other materials to support successful site participation
- Provide the practice perspective during internal team discussions and planning, including operational and site feasibility input
- Manage delivery execution tasks, including:
- Status tracking and metrics reporting (internal trackers, salesforce, VTC activity)
- Jira ticket management for project-related updates and VTC builds
- Project closeout activities (e.g., disabling users, final documentation)
- Coordinate site outreach campaigns and feasibility projects, including identifying contacts and facilitating engagement
- Collaborate closely with product, medical, data science, and engineering teams to incorporate user feedback and suggest improvements to VTC workflows
- Potential for supporting sponsor engagement and contributing to the enhancement of Veranas research network strategy, based on interest and capability
Basic Requirements
- Knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulatory frameworks, including working with IRBs
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) or Clinical Research Associate (CRA) working with clinical trial practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to work overlapping hours with US-based teams and practices
- Aptitude for relationship building and operational collaboration
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Empathy for patient and clinician experience
- Comfort adopting new technologies and learning new processes
- Self-starter who thrives in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
- BA/BS or equivalent preferred
