Modern Workplace Solution Architect

As a Modern Workplace Solution Architect, you will define the vision, architecture, and trajectory of Sodexo's modern workplace, with deep expertise in Microsoft Intune and Entra ID. This strategic role requires 10 to 15 years of solid experience in an international context, allowing you to drive global alignment, technology governance, multi-year roadmap planning, and large-scale change management. Positioned as a business partner, you will contribute to offering the best access to Sodexo's IS based on user profiles, ensuring security, performance, and business alignment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic and Global Responsibilities : -

Define and evolve Sodexo's Modern Workplace strategy, in line with TDDI directions and business needs.

Lead the 35 year Modern Workplace technology roadmap, integrating transformation areas such as: *Unified Endpoint Management (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS), *Gradual inclusion of new equipment (Rugged devices, IoT, kiosks, etc.), *BYOD usage governance, *Adoption of Cloud PC / Windows 365 and Zero Trust models.

Ensure technical governance of the Modern Workplace domain within global architecture committees.

Contribute to standardization and cost optimization strategies in a multi-site, multilingual environment.

Represent Sodexo with strategic vendors, OEMs, and software providers (e.g., Microsoft, Apple, Google, TeamViewer...).

Cross-functional Leadership and Influence : -

Support local teams in adopting global solutions while considering regional (regulatory, technical, operational) constraints.

Influence the technology choices of other global teams (Identity, Security, Network, Cloud, Service Desk, ITSM) to ensure Modern Workplace coherence.

Coordinate global transformation programs related to user experience, support optimization, and endpoint governance.

Architecture, Integration, and Innovation : -

Architect solutions around Microsoft Intune / Entra ID, integrating DEX solutions (Nexthink, 1E...), remote control tools, endpoint security, etc.

Assess new technologies (Windows Autopilot, Autopatch, Entra ID Governance, etc.) and their relevance to the Sodexo environment.

Participate in technology watch and contribute to defining global IT standards. Supervision, Mentoring, and Knowledge Sharing : -

Support the upskilling of junior architects, engineers, and project managers.

Create and share architecture documentation, governance models, and standardized deployment guides.

Lead internal technical communities (Workplace Champions, Intune Guild, etc.) and promote best practices

Required Skills:

Hard Skills

Advanced architecture skills on Microsoft Intune, with experience managing heterogeneous fleets (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).

Full proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD (PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, Entra Connect, etc.).

Clear vision of endpoint security within a Zero Trust framework.

Understanding of BYOD challenges, MAM/MAM-WE, App Protection Policies, and GDPR issues. Integration and management of DEX solutions, remote support tools, Cloud PC, etc.

Proficiency in Log Analytics (Kusto Query Language - KQL) to build custom dashboards, monitor compliance trends, and gain deep insights into endpoint performance and user experience across all device types.

PowerShell scripting, automation, and Intune Graph API experience is a plus.

Soft and Language Skills

Cross-functional leadership in an international context.

Ability to interact with C-level executives, business managers, IT architects, and service providers. Fluent English is required; French and/or Spanish are considered strong assets.

Excellent writing, formalization, and workshop facilitation skills.

Profile Sought

University degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's level or equivalent).

10 to 15 years of experience in complex and international IT environments.

Proven experience in global workplace transformation projects.

Expected certifications:

Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert

MD-102, SC-300 or equivalent

DEX certification (e.g., Nexthink), ITIL or TOGAF is a plus
