Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Key Account Management

  • Develop and manage relationships with modern trade buyers and category managers
  • Negotiate annual trading terms, JBPs (Joint Business Plans), and promotional calendars
  • Drive listing of new SKUs and expansion of product assortment
  • Ensure timely execution of contracts and commercial agreements

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve primary & secondary sales targets
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and shopper behavior
  • Drive profitable growth while managing trade spends effectively

3.Trade Marketing & Promotions

  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, activations, and visibility drives
  • Coordinate with marketing for POSM and campaign rollouts
  • Track ROI of promotions and optimize future investments

4.Distribution & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Forecast demand and coordinate with supply chain teams
  • Ensure optimal stock availability and reduce out-of-stock instances
  • Monitor inventory health across key accounts

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly sales reports, business reviews, and performance dashboards
  • Conduct periodic business reviews with accounts
  • Use data insights to identify growth opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 48 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in modern trade
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Experience handling large retail chains
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or sales automation tools
