Model Based Design Engineer

MAIN TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES

1. Works under the guidance of the Incubator System Modelling Expert to ensure technical alignment.
2. Develops BMS software models using Saft's Model-Based Design (MBD) process.
3. Validates models through MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) activities.
4. Assists in the integration of software models into embedded platforms.
5. Supports the design and execution of battery prototype test campaigns.
6. Validates models through MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) activities.
7. REPORTING
8. Documents modeling and validation activities with clarity and precision.
9. Prepares and delivers regular progress reports to both hierarchical and functional managers.
10. KNOWLEDGE SHARING
11. Participates actively in Saft's MBD Technical Circles to share knowledge and best practices.
12. Provides technical feedback and insights to improve modeling methodologies.
13. Engages with the wider Saft MBD community to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

MANDATORY

1. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for model development and simulation
2. Experience with MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) validation techniques.
3. Solid understanding of embedded software development and real-time systems.
4. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development workflows

NICE-TO-HAVE

1. Familiarity with C/C++ programming for embedded platforms.
2. Knowledge of battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
