Mobile Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile and API Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Selenium Automation, with expertise in automating mobile and API testing. The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute automation tests for mobile applications and APIs, ensuring high-quality software releases and reducing testing time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for mobile and API testing using Java and Selenium.
• Automate mobile application testing using tools such as Appium, Selenium, and TestNG.
• Develop and execute API testing scripts using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and JMeter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management to identify automation opportunities and prioritize test cases.
• Develop and maintain test automation infrastructure, including test data management and test environment setup.
• Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain test automation reports, including test execution results and test coverage metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the automation framework.
• Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on mobile and API testing.
• Strong experience with Java programming language.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and TestNG.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and JMeter.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
