Mobile Product Designer

About the Role

At Yal, we are building the future of AI-driven communication. We are looking for a Mobile Product Designer who is obsessed with native experiences. Whether you are an iOS purist, an Android expert, or a cross-platform specialist, your mission is to ensure that Yal feels like the fastest, most intuitive app on a user's phone.

You will own the mobile experience for a specific product pod, working directly with engineering to turn complex AI capabilities into seamless, thumb-friendly interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Native Design: Lead the UI/UX for our mobile apps, ensuring deep alignment with either Apple's HIG or Google's Material Design.
• AI Micro-interactions: Design how AI lives on mobile—from streaming text states to gesture-based controls and haptic feedback.
• Prototyping: Create high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate transition logic and motion—not just static screens.
• Collaboration: Partner with our Hyderabad-based engineering pods to ensure your designs are technically feasible and pixel-perfect.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience focused on Native Mobile Apps.
• A portfolio that shows live apps (please include links).
• Mastery of Figma and advanced prototyping tools (Protopie, Framer, etc.).
• Location: Ability to work from our Hyderabad office.
