Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and architect iOS and Android mobile medical applications.
- Implement healthcare interoperability using HL7 and FHIR.
- Enable BLE-enabled medical device connectivity and secure communication.
- Ensure mobile security for PII/PHI protection, secure storage, encryption, and MDM/MAM policies.
- Integrate with cloud backend services and design for regulated compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, FDA QSR, ISO 13485, design controls).
- Apply appropriate backend architecture patterns including microservices, monolithic, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Support performance tuning and optimization for mobile medical applications.
- Guide the team in implementing, testing, and maintaining the mobile medical application.
- Contribute to GenAI understanding and hands-on experience.
Skills Required:
- Demonstrates strong expertise in mobile application architecture across iOS and Android platforms.
- Possesses hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Flutter, and related technologies.
- Shows deep understanding of medical device integrations and BLE communication.
- Exhibits knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Demonstrates strong experience in mobile security, encryption, and data protection practices.
- Shows familiarity with regulatory standards including HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, FDA QSR, and ISO 13485.
- Applies knowledge of cloud backend integration and scalable architecture design.
- Exhibits strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
- Communicates effectively with technical, clinical, and regulatory stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
