We are seeking a Chemist for Mobile Laboratory on a 1-year contract basis to support field-based laboratory testing activities.
The role involves traveling within the district in a mobile laboratory van, conducting chemical analyses, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining laboratory standards.
Location : Hisar , Rothak , Sirsa
Employement : 1 Year Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical testing and analysis in a mobile laboratory setup as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Travel regularly within the assigned district using the mobile lab van.
- Collect, handle, and test samples accurately and safely.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and testing instruments in proper working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
- Record test results, prepare reports, and submit findings to the concerned authorities or supervisors.
- Coordinate with field staff and local officials during sample collection and testing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and logs related to testing and calibration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent chemistry-related discipline.
- Experience:
- 12 years of relevant experience in chemical analysis, laboratory testing, or field lab operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of basic chemistry and laboratory practices.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the district.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
Other Requirements
- Valid willingness to travel daily within the district.
- Physically fit to work in mobile/field laboratory conditions.
