Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Architecture & Clean Code: Implement scalable architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and design patterns.
- Security & Compliance: Implement secure authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT, MFA), biometric login (Fingerprint/Face Unlock), certificate pinning, and Android Keystore protection adhering to OWASP Mobile Top 10 and SSDLC standards.
- API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON-based web services, and enterprise backend microservices.
- Quality & Testing: Write unit and UI automation tests (JUnit, Espresso), practice TDD, conduct code reviews, and resolve complex performance issues.
- DevOps & Delivery: Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, vulnerability scanning, and App Store/Play Store deployments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers, solution architects, cybersecurity engineers, and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on native Android development experience.
- CoreTech Stack: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava.
- Security Expertise: Cryptography, Android Keystore, data encryption at rest/in transit, threat detection (e.g., v-Key, Zimperium).
- Tools& CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Bitrise, SonarQube, Gradle, JIRA/Confluence.
- Nice to Have: Experience with mobile/internet banking systems, cross-platform frameworks, or HarmonyOS.
