This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Mobile Developer. In this role, you will take ownership of a core mobile application, managing, maintaining, and enhancing our mobile wallet. This is a pivotal position that offers significant autonomy to shape the future of our mobile presence while working in a collaborative, agile environment. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the application, ensuring its performance, security, and feature development in a fast-paced setting.
Accountabilities
- Application Ownership: Manage the entire lifecycle of the mobile wallet application, including maintenance, debugging, and feature development.
- Cross-Platform Development: Develop and deploy features using modern frameworks while maintaining the existing codebase.
- Native Layer Integration & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex issues bridging JavaScript with native iOS and Android.
- Feature Implementation: Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to develop user-friendly mobile features.
- App Store Management: Oversee the process of building and releasing the application to app stores.
- Code Quality & Standards: Maintain high standards for code quality and advocate for mobile development best practices.
- Technical Strategy: Contribute to decisions about the application's architecture and tooling.
- Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders during the Scrum process.
Requirements
- Proven Mobile Development Experience: Minimum 5 years building and deploying mobile applications.
- Strong JavaScript Proficiency: Deep understanding of modern JavaScript and its ecosystem.
- Cross-Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Capacitor and React Native frameworks.
- Native Bridge Proficiency: Understanding of how cross-platform frameworks interact with native layers.
- App Store Release Management: Experience managing the release process for iOS and Android applications.
- Agile/Scrum Experience: Effective collaboration within Agile teams.
- API Integration: Ability to integrate securely with RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Mastery of Git and standard collaboration workflows.
- Problem-Solving & Autonomy: Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Communication: Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
