We are looking for an experienced Mobile Business Analyst with strong expertise in mobile applications within the insurance sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications for mobile-based solutions. The role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications that support insurance services such as policy management, claims processing, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities and Duties
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for mobile applications.
Work with stakeholders to understand insurance business processes, including policy administration, claims, underwriting, and customer services.
Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with mobile developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and business process improvement initiatives.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and validating solutions.
Ensure mobile solutions align with customer experience and digital transformation initiatives in the insurance space.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and solution designs.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience working on digital insurance platforms or mobile customer-facing applications.
Understanding of API integrations and mobile architecture.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on mobile applications.
Experience working within the insurance industry (life, health, or short-term insurance).
Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and mobile application development lifecycle.
Experience creating user stories, business requirement documents (BRD), and functional specifications.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical skills.
