About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile Architect / Lead Engineer to drive the end-to-end design and development of cutting-edge mobile applications. The role involves defining architecture standards, selecting frameworks and tools, and leading both native (Swift, Kotlin/Java) and cross-platform (Flutter, React Native) development initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and security across all mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement mobile architecture standards aligned with enterprise goals.
- Lead end-to-end mobile solution design from UI to backend integrations.
- Evaluate and select mobile technologies, frameworks, and CI/CD toolchains.
- Ensure app performance, code quality, and security through reviews and automation.
- Modernize existing mobile apps into modular, scalable architectures.
- Drive DevSecOps, observability, and mobile delivery automation.
- Mentor developers and contribute to pre-sales or customer solutioning when needed.
Key Skills:
- Strong expertise in Swift, Kotlin/Java, and cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
- Deep understanding of mobile app lifecycle, App Store/Play Store processes, and secure design patterns.
- Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth2, JWT, and CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise).
- Hands-on experience with Firebase, App Center, Crashlytics, Sentry, Instabug.
- Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) and compliance standards like HIPAA/GDPR.
- Exposure to headless CMS or backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns
