About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile Development Lead with strong hands-on expertise in both iOS and Android development. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, experience leading mobile development teams, and the ability to drive end-to-end mobile app architecture, design, delivery, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Define mobile architecture, frameworks, coding standards, and best practices.
- Review code, guide developers, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Drive innovation, evaluate new tools/tech, and enhance mobile engineering practices.
Development & Delivery
- Hands-on development using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, and modern mobile frameworks.
- Build scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX, backend, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.
- Lead debugging, performance tuning, and resolution of production issues.
Team Management
- Mentor mobile engineers, conduct technical interviews, assign tasks, and oversee delivery timelines.
- Provide technical direction to teams working across Android and iOS.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers & designers to define mobile feature roadmaps.
- Ensure alignment with business requirements, architecture guidelines, and release schedules.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1012 years of total experience in mobile application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and native Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Proven experience leading mobile teams and large-scale app development.
- Solid understanding of:
- Mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL
- CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- App Store & Play Store deployment processes
- Experience in performance optimization, memory management, and secure coding.
- Ability to conduct technical interviews and make hiring decisions.
Good to Have
- Experience with Flutter/React Native (optional but beneficial)
- Exposure to Firebase, push notifications, analytics frameworks
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
