Job Description: MLOps Engineer

Location: Chennai, IITMRP, Tharamani.

Role Overview

We are looking for an MLOps Engineer with hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining machine learning models. The role involves supporting ML model deployment, basic monitoring, workflow documentation, and collaboration with data science teams. Experience in medical imaging or healthcare AI is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

● Deploy ML and deep learning models in staging or production environments.

● Work with data scientists to convert models into usable applications or APIs.

● Support ML pipelines for training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

● Package ML applications using Docker or similar basic tools.

● Track model versions, experiments, and deployment documentation.

● Monitor model performance, latency, and application health.

● Troubleshoot basic model, API, and deployment-related issues.

Required Skills

● 2 years of experience in MLOps, ML engineering, or ML deployment.

● Experience deploying ML models using APIs such as FastAPI or Flask.

● Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.

● Basic knowledge of Docker, Git, Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

● Understanding of the ML lifecycle from data preprocessing to deployment.

Preferred Skills

● Exposure to medical imaging, radiology workflows, DICOM, PACS, or healthcare AI systems.

● Experience with image-based deep learning models, such as classification, detection, or segmentation models.

● Familiarity with MLflow, Weights & Biases, or similar experiment tracking tools.

● Basic understanding of healthcare data privacy and model reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, AI/ML, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
