Job Title: aR Technical Expert

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Assisted Reality (aR) Technical Expert with deep, hands‑on experience delivering aR solutions for manufacturing and industrial environments. The role focuses on building AOSP‑based Assisted Reality smart glass applications using Unity and Unreal Engine to support shop‑floor operations, maintenance, quality inspections, training, and remote expert assistance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, plant‑floor constraints, and core system integrations, and will be capable of delivering scalable, production‑grade aR solutions that improve productivity, quality, and operational uptime.
This role involves designing, developing, integrating, and deploying aR applications that enhance field operations, training, and remote assistance workflows, with a strong emphasis on automation and backend integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisted Reality
- Design and implement Assisted Reality solutions for industrial, field service, training, and remote support use cases.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into aR solutions.
- Deploy and support remote assistance solutions, including end‑to‑end setup, configuration, and rollout across teams.
- Perform troubleshooting of aR hardware and devices, including connectivity issues, performance issues, and device configuration problems.
- Provide training and onboarding for end users to ensure effective adoption of assisted‑reality solutions.
- AOSP Based Assisted Reality Glasses Development
- Strong experience with Android application development on AOSP (Android Open Source Project)
- Build Android applications optimized for:
- Voice control
- Gesture based interaction
- Camera and sensor integration
- Integrate AR hardware features such as:
- Camera streaming
- Microphone
- GPS
- Barcode/QR scanning
- Debug, test, and deploy applications on AR hardware devices.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
- Proven expertise in Android / AOSP application development.
- Experience developing for Assisted Reality or industrial smart glasses.
- Proficiency in Java / Kotlin
- Android SDK and device services (camera, audio, sensors)
- Strong understanding of 3D rendering, spatial UI, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating with ERP and plant systems.

Work Experience
2-5 years experience in Assisted Reality hardware and AOSP applications development.
