Role Description The Mixologist will be responsible for designing, preparing, and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages that reflect Kijiji's Indo-Afro fusion and farm-to-glass philosophy. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with guests, taking and preparing drink orders, maintaining bar inventory and cleanliness, and ensuring consistent drink quality and presentation. The role also involves collaborating with the culinary team to create pairings, contributing to seasonal menu development, and adhering to safety and hygiene standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Kijiji in Gurugram, requiring evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Candidates should possess solid Food & Beverage knowledge to craft cocktails, understand ingredients, and support menu pairings.
• Candidates should possess Training experience and the ability to share best practices with junior staff or new team members.
• Candidates should possess Culinary Skills that support garnish preparation, flavor balancing, and farm-to-glass presentation.
• Previous bar or mixology experience in a high-volume or premium venue is preferred.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours, and follow hygiene and safety regulations is required.
• A certification in bartending or hospitality, or equivalent practical experience, is an advantage.
