Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mivan Shuttering - Finishing Manager based in Hyderabad. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing Mivan shuttering and finishing works for high-rise and large-scale residential or mixed-use projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The manager will coordinate daily with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and labor teams to schedule activities, allocate resources, and resolve technical or operational issues. Responsibilities include monitoring formwork and finishing works, enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections, and implementing corrective actions for any deviations. The role also involves collaborating with project management and quality teams for progress reporting, documentation, material planning, and continuous improvement of construction methods and productivity.
Qualifications
- Strong construction expertise, particularly in Mivan shuttering, formwork systems, and finishing activities in large residential or mixed-use projects.
- Proven project management skills, including planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination with cross-functional site teams.
- Experience in production management for construction sites, focusing on workflow optimization, resource utilization, and timely delivery of milestones.
- Solid background in quality control, with the ability to interpret drawings, enforce technical standards, and conduct inspections for formwork and finishes.
- Relevant safety training or certifications (e.g., SMSTS or equivalent site safety management qualification) and strong commitment to EHS practices.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
- Hands-on experience in high-rise or large-scale projects using aluminum formwork systems (Mivan or similar) is highly preferred.
- Effective leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in basic construction software/tools and MS Office for reporting and documentation.
