Job Title: MIS Specialist
Project: Assam Resilient Rural Bridge Program (ARRBP)
Location: Four Project Zones Assam
Reporting To: Resident Engineer / Project Manager
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech (IT/Computer Science) / MCA / BCA with relevant experience.
- Minimum 58 years of experience in MIS management for infrastructure / rural development projects.
- Experience in externally aided projects (World Bank / ADB funded projects preferred).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions), MS Access, Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the MIS system for monitoring progress of bridge works across four zones.
- Maintain project databases related to physical progress, financial progress, contracts, and quality control.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for PIU and project authorities.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards for management review.
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and timely updating from field teams.
- Coordinate with Resident Engineers, contractors, and field staff for data collection and reporting.
- Support documentation management and digital record keeping.
- Assist in preparing reports required for funding agencies and higher authorities.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel dashboards, pivot tables, and reporting automation.
- Knowledge of project monitoring frameworks.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multi-location project data efficiently
