MIS Job Description: Key Responsibilities Data Management & Reporting: Collect, clean, analyze, and store data from various sources to generate accurate daily, monthly, or ad-hoc reports.
System Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize MIS databases and software to ensure data accuracy and security.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation regarding MIS processes, data procedures, and report methodologies.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs, automating data collection to increase efficiency. Support & Training: Provide training and support to staff on new systems, software, or data procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), SQL, database management, and business intelligence (BI) tools.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
Experience: Previous experience in MIS, data analysis, or a similar role.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with stakeholders and departments.
