Role & Responsibilities
- Consolidate multi-source operational data into structured MIS dashboards and daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
- Design, automate and maintain Excel/Power BI visualisations, ensuring KPIs remain accurate, actionable and refresh in near real-time.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries to extract, cleanse and validate large datasets for ad-hoc analyses and executive summaries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business questions into data models, reports and compelling insights.
- Identify data quality issues, implement validation checks and drive continuous improvement of data governance processes.
- Prepare presentations and narrative summaries that communicate trends, variances and performance drivers to senior leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years experience in an MIS, Reporting Analyst or similar data-focused role.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivots, power query, complex formulas, VBA macros).
- Hands-on SQL skills for data extraction and transformation across relational databases.
- Demonstrated ability to build interactive dashboards in Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
Preferred
- Exposure to Python/R for data wrangling or automation.
- Knowledge of ETL workflows and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience supporting stakeholders in manufacturing, retail or finance sectors.
