Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data modeling, with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful visualizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Develop and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud databases.
- Create and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Monitor report performance and optimize dashboards for speed and usability.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance across BI solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Power BI reports and datasets.
- Document BI solutions, data models, and development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query (M Language), and SQL.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure, or other cloud platforms is preferred.
- Understanding of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI administration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
