About the Role

The MIS and Documentation Lead will be responsible for managing the organization's Management Information System (MIS), ensuring timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting across programme activities. The role will also lead programme documentation, capturing field learnings, success stories, case studies, and best practices to support monitoring, learning, and organizational knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities

MIS Management

· Design, maintain, and strengthen programme MIS systems and databases.

· Coordinate data collection from field teams and ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness.

· Develop and manage data collection tools, formats, and reporting templates.

· Generate regular programme dashboards, reports, and data summaries for internal reviews and donor reporting.

  • Support the development and implementation of monitoring frameworks and indicators.

Documentation and Knowledge Management

  • Develop and maintain programme documentation systems
  • Document programme processes, innovations, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Write and compile case studies, success stories, field notes, and best practice documents.
  • Capture evidence from field visits through interviews, photographs, videos, and observations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, Statistics, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in MIS, monitoring and evaluation, programme documentation, or related roles.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data management.
  • Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Ability to analyse data and present findings in a clear and meaningful manner.

Preferred

  • Experience working in education, FLN, early childhood development, or community development programmes.
  • Experience in developing case studies, impact stories, and donor reports.
  • Knowledge of Hindi and English
  • Based in Lohardaga, Jharkhand or willing to relocate

Renumeration : 3.6l - 4.2l/pa
